
Lisa is an
adventurer at heart, and life is her adventure. Whether travelling the world,
scuba diving, or journeying in deep meditation, she seeks to live, learn and
love to the fullest. She resides in Toronto, Ontario and is well grounded in the
"real world", working in the regulatory arm of the financial industry.
She feels that she has found real balance through yoga and hopes to help others
as she has been helped. Her training regime includes physical yoga, weight
training and cardiovascular conditioning, and gives her a broad perspective on
physical health training. She particularly enjoys working with beginners.
Lisa has a
broad range of yoga experience with a foundation in the Sivananda style. Her
teacher training was completed at Tanglefoot Lodge, with Russ Hazard. She is
particularly fond of the strong emphasis on karma yoga, which fits well with her
vision of people taking yoga off the mat and reaching out to the world around
them. She is an avid dragonboater, and deeply supports fundraising for cancer
research and other worthy causes.
