
I am the primary cook here at the lodge! I'm
currently writing a cook book of all our vegetarian recipes.
I am a Sivananda trained yoga instructor, and am
proud to carry on the traditions of the Sivananda organization. I also
look to many other sources, such as the teachings of Pattabhi Jois (Ashtanga
Yoga), S.N Goenka (Vipassana meditation) and Brad Blanton (Radical Honesty) for inspiration.
I am a certified personal
trainer, and love to help people achieve their health and fitness goals. I
studied at Trent University, where I earned my B.Sc. in psychology. This
has helped me to be able to understand and help motivate the people I work with.
My goals are to be able to spread peace, wellness
and mental clarity to those I come in contact with, and that no-one should go
hungry while here at the lodge! I also strive to be
open so that I can learn from all those I meet. It is my hope that
Tanglefoot Lodge will act as a beacon for people who wish to change their lives
for the better, and that these changes will ripple out into our communities,
making this world a better place to live.
