Mountain Rythym Drums and Tanglefoot Lodge have joined again to bring you another completely unique percussive experience. Building on the incredible success of the Mountain Rythym Drum Experience, we have put together an absolutely mind blowing weekend of learning and fun. This weekend in the beautiful Kawarthas will introduce you to rhythmic teachings from around the world, taught by some of the top percussionists around! Come spend some quality time with people who live and breath rhythm!

Like the Mountain Rythym Drum Experience, this event will be very intimate giving an extremely high student teacher ratio. For this reason it is open to a wide range of experience levels. The weekend includes all accommodations (Friday and Saturday night), all meals and snacks, instruction and use of the facilities at Tanglefoot Lodge. The cost is $350 + gst per person.  We are also offering a few camping spots (bring your own tent) for $275 + gst per person.

The workshops are taught orally-bring a drum (drums will be provided) an open heart and open ears- no paper required .

Guided Listening Session

Facilitated by Ray Dillard

This session will feature recordings and discussions of music suggested by all of the teaching staff to help familiarize the participants in high level performance of the styles of percussion music discussed in the various sessions.  This will also serve to start a mini discography of suggested recordings for future study and deeper understanding of these styles.
