Shamanic Extraction Healing

Participants are initiated into the extraction method of healing, including how to see, sense, and remove localized illness and pain connected to spiritual factors. This is an important part of shamanic healing training. They will also learn how shamanic practitioners can work in partnership to increase the effectiveness of this work. The Extraction Healing Training workshop is designed exclusively for people who want to bring shamanic healing work into their practice with others. The training is not designed for people looking for personal healing.  Before enrolling in this training workshop, please make sure that you have been having success in contacting your power animals and/or spirit teachers on your own and that you feel confident about your journeying skills.

The standard format for this course is day only, running from approximately 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on a Saturday and Sunday. This includes a light lunch both days. The day only version of the course costs the standard FSS tuition of $185 plus GST (half tuition for registered aboriginals). The deposit for the day course is $65. 

Here at Tanglefoot Lodge, we are pleased to be able to offer an optional residential version of the course. This version includes tuition, all meals and accommodations as well as background evening activities such as drum circles, sweat lodge ceremonies, bonfires, communing with nature/hikes/skiing and relaxation at the lodge. The residential version is only $250 plus GST (Saturday night only) or $285 plus GST (Friday and Saturday nights). The deposit is $100. There are limited residential spaces so make sure to reserve one early!
